Xiaomi Redmi 2 is expected to release on 12th March 2015. We can expect
the product on famous online shopping portal flipkart. It was released on Jan
2015.
Comparison of Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Redmi 2:
Compared to Redmi 1s, Redmi 2 is lightweight as it is 133gms
where as Redmi 1s is 158. Both are in the same display size at 4.7 Inch screen.
Both Redmi 1s and 2 contains the removable battery, but the capacity
of Redmi 2 is varies by 200mAh increased from Redmi 1s which is 2000mAh.
Redmi 1s comes with only gray, but Xiaomi Redmi 2 comes with
several colour skin like White, Black , Yellow , Pink and Green.
Compare to Redmi 1s , Redmi 2 contains less processor speed 1.2GHz
quad-core , where Redmi 1s contains a 1.6 GHz quad-core, but Redmi
2 contains the next version processor of Qualcomm Snapdragon 410
Redmi 2 contains of 2 GB RAM where as Redmi 1s contains 1 GB,
Internal storage of 2 is 16 GB where as 1s is 8 GB but 1s contains the more
expandable memory up to 64 GB where as 2 contains 32 GB.
The Rear camera of 1s and 2 are same of 8 Megapixel but the front
camera clarity is different from 1s is a 1.6 Mega Pixel where 2 contains 2
MegaPixel.
Redmi 2 is of Android Kitkat version where Redmi 1s are
of the Jelly Bean OS.
Redmi 2 not contains the Wifi Direct where Redmi 1s contains the
Wifi Direct.
Both are dual SIM with GSM SIM slots where 1s has the 3G
features in sim1 and no 3G features in second sim but in 2s second simslot only
supports 3G.
Redmi 2s does not support Gyroscope and compass magnetic
sensor.
